This is a perfect vegan alternative to retinol, and is also suitable for those whose skin doesn't respond well to Vitamin A.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Shake to make one radically rejuvenating product. Apply serum after cleansing and toning in the evenings, and then finish with your favourite moisturizer.

Acure doesn't disclose what percentage of bakuchiol is in Acure's Bakuchiol Serum, but it is near the top of the ingredients list. We estimate that it would be in the range of 0.5 - 2% concentration, which is the amount required to make a noticeable difference to the skin (according to research).
What to avoid when using bakuchiol?
The beauty of bakuchiol is that it is a fairly compatible ingredient with most other actives, unlike its alternative retinol. If you have sensitive skin, avoid using other active ingredients such as vitamin C, retinol and acids with bakuchiol, just so your skin won't get overwhelmed. But for everyone else, we'd just avoid using bakuchiol with acid exfoliants, only because we think an acid exfoliation should be a standalone treatment followed by moisture replenishing skincare.

It is perfectly OK to use the Acure Bakuchiol Serum everyday - it is a fairly low irritant, and shouldn't inflame sensitive skin. Of course, patch test first!
